Does Health Insurance Cover Hearing Aids?

Many private insurance companies cover some or all of the cost of hearing aids. Most will also pay for a hearing evaluation if you suspect hearing loss. That’s why the first step is scheduling a hearing test. Once we understand your hearing needs, we can contact your insurance provider to check for hearing aid coverage. In some cases, hearing loss may be better treated with medication or surgery, which is typically covered by insurance as well.
If you're currently employed, your health plan may include a flexible spending account, which lets you set aside tax-free money for health-related expenses.

What Does Your Financing Look Like?

We don’t just sell you hearing aids. We offer a 48-month treatment plan with monthly costs ranging from $116 to $193 for a pair of hearing aids. This treatment plan includes treatment of your hearing loss throughout the entire 48-month period.
State and national assistance programs may also be available. Some are designed for those with limited income, while others support workers whose jobs depend on hearing clearly. We’re happy to help you explore programs you may qualify for.

The Hidden Cost of Untreated Hearing Loss

The cost of hearing aids can feel overwhelming at first, but not treating hearing loss often comes with even greater costs. Untreated hearing loss increases the risk of anxiety, depression, isolation, dementia, and falls. It also leads to 33% higher medical expenses and, on average, $12,000 less in annual income compared to peers with normal hearing.
Our team is here to help you hear your best and find solutions that work for your lifestyle and your budget. We’ll walk you through your options and make sure financial barriers don’t stand in the way of better hearing.
